Most of the time their enthusiasm is misplaced, imo. Those cars are not very exciting and by the time they are done making them (sorta)exciting they could of bought a much better performance car. But, to each his/her own I guess.

ding ding ding, we have a winner.
Most are ignorant to the fact the cars just aren't a good base to add to. You cannot polish a turd.
FWD, horrible weight balance. Sure, they can be nice but like you said by the time thousands are dumped into it, that person could have purchased a car that was designed to go fast from the get go.

I've never owned either car, but I did have a first model year RSX-S, and all I can say is that the decision to get rid of that car was a horrible, horrible decision. As to what I think about enthusiast's of these cars..... what was your first car? For a lot of these kids, this is their first car and the want to do whatever they can to make it 'theirs' or make it faster, cooler, whatever.....For me, my first car was a big block Buick, but those aren't the cars kids are getting now, they are getting FWD Honda's, or some FWD car. To the people saying that they are misguided or misplaced in their enthusiasm; I guess you were the only ones bequeathed with the knowledge of all things perfect, awesome, and correct in automotive enthusiasm at birth!!!! Don't hate on the kids making the best with what they've got!!!
