I bought my first car when I was 14 and restored it from front to rear; top to bottom. A real classic of a car - 1962 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. It was huge, you could lay across the seat with no problem , what a car it was. Chrome Headlights and rocket taillights with the famous Chrysler torque flight automatic push button transmission.

Hell, I could have fit the S2000 in the trunk.

1994 chevy corsica - still serves as my daily driver. bought 1 year old when i was a junior in high school working at pizza hut for a whopping $4.25 an hour. reliability would rival any honda, but not the build quality! squeaks and rattles like a mutha!

My first vehicle was a 1955 Chevy 1500 Series Pick Up truck that I got from my Grandfather when I turned 15 in 1989! I still have that truck today It is a 3 speed on the floor straight 6.

My first "car" was a 1971 Plymouth Cuda which I bought in 1989. I had to buy it because the truck wasn't easy to drive and was wayyyyyy to slow. That only lasted 3 months before I saw a really good deal for the Cuda.

The weird thing is I still have both vehicles today.

71 Plymouth Duster with a "3 on the tree" and 4 bald tires - total piece of crap. A friend graduated college and went into the army, he couldn't sell the car because it was such a piece, so he gave it to me. I drove it for 6 months until a lady blew a stop sign and I hit her, totaling my car. Don't ask me why, but I bought physical damage coverage when I got the car, so I actually made out on the deal. What I got from the insurance company more than covered my cost to register, insure etc.

1980 Civic Wagon...silver on red...known at "The silver bullet." My dad took it back after I got another car because he loved it and drove it to 150,000 miles and only traded it in because he was moving and did not have room for it. He still talks about it.

1985 Volkswagen Vanagon. It was 6,000 lbs and had a 1.8 ltr 110 or so HP engine in the rear. It was blue, tinted windows, with drapes and had the middle seats taken out. In place of the seats was a mattress. No one ever believe me when I told them that I don't smoke weed and don't have sex..

Anyway, we called it the Beast, and I acquired the handle BeastyVan which I used for a while. The thing handled, in my opinion.. being a RWD, rear-engine VAN and I (trried) to drive that thing like it was a race car - I can't believe I didn't roll it since I knew close to nothing about physics of cars..

I used to get it upto 90 going downhill on the freeway in the evening, on a cold day with no other passengers. After a few runs however, the oil pressure light began to turn on : ) so we sold the thing.. kind of miss it though.
