personally (IMO) i wouldn't pay anything near what it is "worth" too many other cars for the prices their gonna want for this car.
What car would you rather have? I'd pay 50 grand easy for thy car.
well it depends on what their asking. i doubt their only asking $50k. It'll be more in the $60-$80k range. There is a lot i would rather buy. 1M or TT-RS. These will have production numbers less than the NSX if that matters (740 1Ms). Evora S, Cayman R & Boxster Spyder. If I'm going for the "exotic" car in that range id rather IMHO get a 355 or 360.

Remember most banks don't finance these old cars, well they will but @ rates that are just plain stupid IMHO, so you have to pay cash. If you have the cash you can probably afford the F car anyways. Also i wouldn't buy a NSX or any exotic unless you can afford "guaranteed value insurance" with one of the exotic insurers. If you insure it with geico your an idiot.

Most vintages hold better value than any exotic or even NSX. go buy a Jag e type or old astons; etc. Ull barely lose any money (probably will make some).

But i don't buy my car as an investment. Their toys and treated as such. I could care less what the resale is. Shit if resale mattered that much, AMG would be out of business.

You will find multiple banks that finance you. You can find financing for a ariel atom too, just at 10%+. The question is at what rate. Read the fine print. Many credit unions don't go older than X years old. Many increase the rate astronomically after 5 years old.

I live a couple of minutes away from that dealer. Going to take a look tomorrow. The Fiancé and I are interested in it, but we are looking forward to the 2015 NSX........... If it ever comes out.

I'm assuming if a new NSX actually is produced the old NSX prices are going to drop like a rock.

I have been looking for an NSX the past few months. Called that dealer. They said they were waiting on an offer of $61K to go through and that they would call me back on Feb 10th. They didn't.
Not sure if sold but it's clear across the country for me. Right now there are two 05 much closer for sale so I think I'll try those first.

Realistically, they probably wont budge from any price south of 65k for that particular NSX since its the last year of its production run.

My personal opinion about the car ... For a 6-7 year old car, man that interior looks ancient. I think if they at least took design cues from the TL of the same year, it would look a little better ... But I'm personally not too big of an NSX fan :|

Highly doubtful.

It may use the same name, but platform is totally different. Take for instance the 993 vs. 996/997. You can get a 996 cheaper then a 993. Different platform (last of the air-cooled 911s).

Who the hell was talking about vintage cars. This NSX is a 2005 and holds value better than pretty much all 2005 cars. Yes, you could care less about the resale values, everyone could.
