Default what would you do

TWO OPTIONS

FIRST
Sell the Jeep and the S and buy a 300c

this one I loose both cars but get a awesome looking and fast car...but doesnt handle close to as good
OR

Sell the Jeep and buy a oldschool Landrover Discovery

Im kinda leaning towards the second one cause then I still have the S and its now not my daily driver and I have the landrover which is way more practicle as a daily

The problem that I potentially see with the second option (from my experience only) is that the oldschool Discoveries don't run worth a damn. But that's just my experience with a couple friends that had them. One in particular had his in the shop almost weekly. But that's just my experience and not necessarily reality. But if it's supposed to be a DD then it also needs to be reliable.

To me the first wouldn't be an option as I'm just not a big fan of the 300c.

What Jeep do you have and why does it not suit you needs?

What's so great about the 300C? It hasn't exactly recieved the best reviews. The usual American car defects still exists in the interior. The suspension is too soft to be luxurious as you hit a bump first, and then the spring starts to bounce. If you don't need 2 cars, go the SRT-8 since you seem to really want it. If you having 2 cars is really good for you, then get a used Lexus LX or Toyota Land Cruiser. Old LandRover discoveries are supposed to be not that reliable, right?

I wouldn't get a Discovery - too unreliable. Also, are you looking at used 300s or just new? You could get a used 300C or even a 300 Ltd and be perfectly happy for a lot less money. Read up on the 300C forums about the different cars - so far they seem to be reliable and are holding up well.

I personally would not sell the S for a large sedan, and I wouldn't put all my eggs in the SRT8 basket - waste of money imo. You could buy a 300 Ltd and add 20" rims.

the jeep is a 4cyl. on a 3'' lift with 32'' mud tires

its not that practicle...

origianally I had the jeep and needed a DD and got hold of a '85 MR2 for free and I fixed it and then just bought a S as my DD..

now Ive gotten the S to the point that I dont want it to be my DD anymore and thus Im thinking selling the jeep for something more practical....which the lexus....damn way to much money

If not the LX, then go for a used RX. It's much smaller for sure. The Toyota Land Cruiser is awesome, and so is the new Toyota 4Runner. It came out in 2003, so there should be plenty of used ones out.

Meh, why a 300C? I'd lose the S and the Jeep and get a 335i. I was surprised to see that 300Cs base at $34,900 (I thought they'd base around $30,000). Euro-delivery 335i bases at $35,900. Hell, I'd lose the S and the Jeep and get an '07 6MT G35. They're cheaper than a 335i. Both are pretty fun to drive. I say this because I love the 335i. Best car I've ever driven, I think. I'm also getting sick of my S at times now (too much damn noise and too damn uncomfortable for any significant amount of time).

It might help to know how much money you're target is.

I'm not a big fan of the 300C it's not the worst car, but it's not a performer except in a straight line. I drove a 300 3.5L for a week, it was OK, but don't see me going out to buy one. It's a good rental car, but for $30K+ there are a lot of other cars I'd go for.

I'd keep the S2000 and get 'some other car' but not a disco (is that the only option you can think of?). I have a 00 Trooper and it's been bullet-proof.

I prefer a car like the STi or Legacy Spec.B or 330i or G35 or what-ever car over a 300C.

I like the 300C a lot, but I don't know if I would sell the s2k for one. would it be within your budget to keep the s2k, sell the Jeep, and buy a used 3.5L 300? that would be my choice.

(I would avoid the Land Rover like the plague)
