And 505hp is to much? A friend of mine has a supra thats putting around 1k bhp and he drives it with no problems back home, but can never take the car to its fullest.
That's because the Supra isn't making real power (400+ hp) until 5000 rpm.

Seriously, ever see the power curve for a Supra with a big single turbo setup? It isn't making the big power until three quarters up the rev range. If you short shift, it's actually pretty mild, especially in the first two gears if you're taking it easy (boost doesn't really build up).

Nope, mommy and daddy just want me to finish school, Son has to sell his S2k and finance money back home to get the money to get the car here. Son just wants a nice car to take back home without paying taxes for importation, thats why Son wants a nice car. To bad mommy and daddy don't want to help, but if they do son still has to work for the money when son back.
you're buying a 70k car right out of school? thats loco man. $1300/mo payments over 5 years on entry level salary isn't my idea of fun.

Whichever one you choose, I predict a wrecked car thread in the future. Dude, you're 23. You really think you can handle a 500 hp sportscar?

Mommy and daddy buying it for you?
Jealous.

RS4 all day so you dont have to be associated with vette owners like this rod.

Z06 no question, it's in a completely different league than the RS4 (except price)

I'd take the RS4.

Curacao, roads are really decent compared with other islands, long enough you have a point there but there are roads. Top down, I have my caprice to chill. I'm leaning more towards the RS4. The way the Z06's throttle is mapped, it's not hard to drive, despite all that power.

But I have to agree with posters questioning your financial decision here. Unless you landed a really nice starting salary straight out of college (which happens, I know), 70K right off the bat is a bit steep.

Just want to let you know, even CPAs start at around 50K-60K, 70K if you're getting hooked up... that's not enough to constitute a 70k+ purchase even if they give you full book retail value for your S, there's some supplemental money here, but this is just me analyzing because I'm bitter (no sense in hiding my jealousy). For a numbers guy I guess I shouldn't be giving you financial advice, but then again I'm an econ guy and accountants and economists look at numbers very differently.
As for me, Z06 no friggin question, and while you're at it buy a nice sedan I mean you could afford it after all. But then again... there is the Viper... I mean the vette is the better car, but the Viper is just so...
