What type of driver are you?
I came across a study called Motivations for Speeding that classified drivers by speed. So, I was wondering what type of drivers folks on S2KI were.
The study tries to classify speeders using a 60 mph speed limit and rough ranges.
I myself am a Type 2 - In dry conditions, I consistently drive 5 MPH above in city and just under 10 MPH above on highway. If it's wet or raining, I drive like a Type 1.

I am generally a 5 miles an hour over, I suppose that is type two. Although in posted 70mph I set the cruise at 72-73. Fast enough for me. Those are normal driving habits.
However, if I get trapped behind a "clogger" for a few miles, when I get the chance to pass, I gun it up to whatever to set a buffer before I slow back to normal.

Enforcement rules are a bit different where I live (Atlanta). On normal surface streets it's generally accepted that you've got 10mph over without question - sometimes 15. However all of the main interstates in the area have a posted limit of 55 and if you're driving less than 75, you're going to get blown off the road. 20-25mph over on these roads is considered "ok" - strangely enough.

Monday - Friday commuting to work in my daily driver I am a Type 2. When the weekend and the S2000 come out, I'm more a Type 3-4 (where conditions and traffic permit it).

Type 2 most of the time. If I'm commuting in the S, I tend to find myself being almost a Type 1 just because of traffic and being downtown where it is harder for people to see me coming.

Type 2 or 3 if traffic allows, which it usually does other than at rush hour. I don't swerve through traffic, tho, and haven't gotten a ticket in about 7 years. The cops here aren't interested in you if you're doing just 10mph over the limit and not driving aggressively.

During my Commute I find myself more in the type 4 bracket. This is mostly due to the fact that at 6:00am there's no LE out, and in SoCal if you're doing the speed limit you're wrong. However, on longer drives or when I'm driving my truck I fall more in the type 2 bracket. So I voted type 3.
