I wonder how many times this has been asked on this (and every other car forum).

It's too expensive to be worth it. Just buy a new GT-R.

Next to Impossible in Cali... You either find one registered from MotoRex or get the new GTR...

Here in Fl it is a lot easier to get JDM cars, we have no smog check or nazi police lol...

If you have to ask you can't afford it. Buy a GTR instead.

32k for a R34, probably isn't Ca legal... Real legit R34's go from 50-100k...

Yes you can register your car in FL, but how many times can you give the cops the "oh, I'm visiting Ca for a few days..." excuse

Sorry, but it's juuuuuust a little more complicated than that.

Check out this thread: Importing a Skyline

...then read this article: Skyline importation

Let me give you the cliff notes: unless you're filthy rich OR you're willing to live with the constant fear of the Feds showing up at your house unannounced to confiscate your car and maybe throw you in jail, just forget about it.

friend of mine does the jdm car import thing... He himself has had an R33 for a year, then a R32 for 6 months, and then his current R32 for about a year and half. Plus his Chaser and Aristo... No problems what so ever, if you need a quote for a R34 let me know

but they won't be legal for Cali, need to do the FL register thing...
