Thumbs up What new car would u buy under $20k?

What car would you buy if you had only 20k to spend and the car had to be new?

Two cars come to mind for me.
1. a new SRT-4. Those things haul ass..
2. A Tibby V-6. Nice looking with lots of options for really cheap!

I would look at the scion Tc as well. Also not a fan of SRT-4's and no experience/knowlage of Hyundai products.

I would also buy the Scion Tc. For about $20k, you could get the factory supercharger, too.

Those aren't you only choices, what about a Mazda 3, or 6, low end 6 should be in that range.

I wouldn't get a tib, I had one too many problems.

I'd get a tC (no doubt) for $16K (and change) you can't beat it. The Civic Si also(can get big discount on them).

I don't think I'd get a $20K car because for maybe $21K you can get a WRX. I mean I wouldn't want to get stuck with a FWD NEON because it's under $20K, while an AWD car like a WRX is just $1K more.

For an extra $20/month it's worth it to me to get a better car. If you have to settle for a weak car, you may soon want to flip it and that costs a lot more in the long run.

What do you want it/need it for? Semi-looks and power, and not a convertible?
End of the year is coming up, you can get some savings then. If not, hit a local member/sales peep for the inside deal discount.

If I were to buy new (which I should have, and now I'll have to sell and then buy new... long story) I'd get the Accord LX coupe w/ insider deal, and save some money to upgrade the ICE and wheels for all about $20k.

I already test drove the Scion tC, and hate to say it, but it's really made for kids OR as a 2nd car. If I were only 20 years old, yeah that'll be my car.

my 2 cents
