I'm not sure either why this question was asked, but the S2000 CREAMS the Prelude (all years) in the looks department.
Personally, I have never owned a fourth-gen Prelude, but after driving a couple and testing them against older third-gen examples, I'd rather have a third- or fifth-gen. The fourth-gen ones felt really crappy by comparison, and almost Camaro-ish with the huge hood and low driving position. I thought I'd like that goofy dashboard too until I saw it at night...what a puke-monster.
Any present company accepted of course.

Prelude handles = 6.5435XX^2.3 S2000 handles = 8.987^xc#3
Prelood looks = 1.2.2.2.2^78kassfsdsdf S2000 looks = tree
Hope that helps!!!
Great thread by the way....seriously...this is awesome!!

I too have owned both cars. 1998 Prelude and my current '03 S2000. Both cars were black, so I can honestly agree with everyone else on this thread. The S is flat out better looking. It looks like it was designed by a PERSON, rather than the computer-generated look of the 5th gen Prelude. With the right aero parts, the 'Lude looks pretty sweet, but it's still no match for the raw sex-appeal of the S!

IMHO, I dont own an S2000. I do own a 99 Prelude, I like the S2000 interior better, I like the Prelude exterior better and while I admire the S2000 I like the wider, longer profile of the Prelude.
Either way, both are great cars. IMO.
