[QUOTE=S2kBush,May 31 2005, 08:11 AM] Holy crap dude! this alphabet soup NEEDS to be in an IRL or F1 forum FAST!!
There are very few people on this board that can identify with the initials of all those drivers. I know I cant! WOW

I think pretty much every F1 driver suffers from the same character flaw: Inflated ego. It seems like they all have it in different degrees, and that is one quality I hate more than any other.
The worst offenders are Jarno Trulli, JP Montoya, and Ralf Schumacher. I can't stand any of them.
Most rally drivers are much more humble and normal... (except Marcus Gronholm / Gilles Panizzi)

jv has always been highly overrated. he narrowly beat ms to the 1997 title in a car (williams-renault) that was vastly superior to ms's ferrari. since then he has thought way to highly of himself.

The only thing I don't like about MS is how he doesn't own up to when it really IS his fault (sometimes). His slashing lines at the starts, back when he was at or near the pole, was not leaving proper room for racing. Not much different than pitting someone off the track in a turn. Other than that he is an amazing driver. Must suck to be RB and 'take one for the team' sometimes.
And JM. Rubs me the wrong way.
I like Raikonnen but is he on mood-altering drugs or what? So soft spoken!

Here's an interesting page-->>F1 hall of fame
Fricken JV is in the hall of fame with 11 total GP wins. OMG RB shoule be in also IMO he has 9 wins and 59 top 3 finishes
Fricken JV has 13 wins and 23 podiums and they both started in the same year.
MS has 83 wins and just 138 podiums out of 220 races.

ms was not classified at the end of 1997 beacuse of a manuever he put on jv in the final race if the season. as part of his punishment, he was not classified second in the championship standings, but he was allowed to keep his points from that season.

He did have an impressive couple of years. I've read a few of those bios and my favorite so far was Mario Andretti. Truly an amazing story.
I guess I don't love to hate any of the drivers. Everyone dumps on JPM, but I for one really enjoyed listening to him during the press conference (when he was on the podium). He speaks well, talks about the race from a driver's point of view, and sometimes lets his latin emotions get the better of him. I like Kimi as a driver but what an awful interviewee. I wonder if he sounds like that when speaking his native tongue. I had my nephew and his girl friend here during the first qualifications round for Monte Carlo. I told them before the press conference something about Kimi will talk in a monotone. They just about died when he started to talk. They thought I was exaggerating!
I also don't like that MS never admits to a mistake, but he is a helluva driver.
