The B16 motor was used in Si (SiR, SiR II) cars. Hence the 16, for 1.6 liter.
THe USDM Type R used the B18C5 motor, hence the 18 for 1.8 liters. THe JDM cars used a derivations of these motors, with higher compression and some other things.

JDM ITR: B18C (same designation for JDM SiR-G motor).
B16A was used in the USDM Del Sol Si and the 99-00 Civic Si.

You have the Civic Si part right, but the B16A (160 HP 1.6L) was in the 94-97 del Sol VTEC. The del Sol Si had the 127 HP SOHC VTEC motor (not sure of the designation, same engine as that generation Civic EX)
