I will be the first to admit that I've crossed the line a few times dealing with people that are...let's say difficult. I would like the moderators to step up and lay out the rules that if violated will result in suspension followed by banning if behavior is not corrected.

This forum is going to crap and we need to do something before the people that make this forum fun leave.

I'd like to suggest a ban for anyone that says the word "fit".

It has been getting real thin around here lately. And yes, the Fit silliness could've remained funny had most everyone not started using it as the next "you might be a redneck if..." punchline.

We've just exhausted a lot of topics, and the information gets out so quickly these days, everythings been rehashed to death by the time a week is up.

As far as booting people, I guess I haven't noticed much of an issue, but then I haven't been posting a lot lately due to the trickle of interesting threads.

I agree talking about Fit's are annoying. Fit's wouldn't beat a Corvette, a Fit wouldn't beat a Viper, a Fit wouldn't beat a Ferrari, so why does everyone keep on bringing up the Fit? Can we please stop talking about the Fit. I've heard the word Fit here so many times that I don't like the Fit as much anymore. Everytime I see a Fit on the road I think of this forum, poor Fit. No more Fit talk please, next person that says Fit should be banned quite Fittingly.

OR we could just hit the "Ignore" button for those that wish to filter out certain people...

Unfortunately "One bad apple spoils the barrel" will always remain true.

We've all crossed the lines at one point or another. A few people on here are just TYRANTS man. They dont listen to any reasoning and are positive they have you figured out. A mature discussion is just out of the question if you disagree with ''certain'' members. I purposefully keep my posting on certain topics to a minimum. Its not even the new teenage s2k owners either. I find that the "report" button works pretty good. The moderators have been pretty good when I've shot them a PM. Its almost as if CarTalk is the place for the grown male to let loose and act like a 9year old. I fear its really impossible to do anything. Policing this place would be like a full time job and I'm sure the top brass have bills to pay.
