Default what does it take to do an interior like this

Sorry, I know that prelude isn't an s2000, and that this is probably the wrong forum section, but I wasn't sure which was---

Heres the interior as it looks today:

concept i'm going for--- not the colors, but just the way everything looks so nice wrapped in leather--- I'd probably go with a MUCH darker color, like black or gray.

I dont want to do the alacantra stuff cuz its wayy out of my budget---

So couple of questions, cost wise, what does it take to wrap entire interiors like this?

Leather is probably too expensive in and of itsself, so what about vynal as a substitute? pros? cons of it?

I've wondered this myself, but hanen't really looked into it. Are you planning to do the work yourself. If so, I would assume that you might need a heavy duty sewing machine.

Let us know what you find out.

nah i have no idea how to do this kinda stuff.

I'd take all the pieces out and give it to someone to do rather than have the car sit in a shop for weeks.

no i mean, the dash on my prelude is 16 years old and looks it.

you can always recover seats but the only way I know of to redo a dash is to recover it with either vynal, leather, etc...

so i want to know what it would take, average cost, materials etc... to do something like this....

not white--- more than likely keepin it black with a silver stiching or something.

I don't know about pricing, but it might actually be cheaper to replace it rather than custom cover it. Plus, you can usually find used dashes in decent shape for good prices.

P.S. Stay away from shiny crap like armor-all. Just use a damp cloth.
