What do you guys think of Supra's?
Hey fellas,
I just wanted to know how you guys felt about the Supra, particularly the 93-98 models and both the NA and TT.
Just wanted to see some opinions from you guys.
My opinion of the S2000 is that it is a great handling car that looks nice and has good power for a roadster. I've driven one and it feels great when you bring it up to 9k rpm's, the engine sounds mean and exhaust has a nice tone to it for being stock. The only thing I wish it had more of is, of course, torque. Definitely a thumbs up tho overall!
BTW, I know the Supra and S2k are in totally different classes but I just wanted to see some opinions from fellow car ethusiasts.

for the most part, i am a big fan of supras. they are beautiful cars and they can be made to be beastly very easily. there is an abundance of supras in my area and i like the majority of them. my friend has a NA supra that i've driven before...i wasn't too impressed by that only because he doesn't keep it in good condition, but once i was on a local road and a black, highly modified twin turbo pulled up next to me and dropped the hammer...he pulled like crazyyyyy. i got schooled that day. i have nothing but respect for supra owners who maintain their cars.

Had one and loved it...comparing to the S2000 is apples vs. oranges, but I like the S2000 better overalll b/c of the light weight, better handling, convertible, and a few other reasons.
I wouldn't try to talk anyone out of buying a Supra, though - they're great cars. Just try to honestly assess whether you have the skills and responsibility to handle all that power (once you get past stock, at least). I feel pretty confident about my driving skills, but had a couple of close calls w/ the Supra - it's a beast when the 2nd turbo kicks in!

MKIV Supras are the one of best cars ever produced out of japan and probably more than that.
as people said before, it has SO MUCH potential to make 400+rwhp in the matter of 1200. !!!
thats just crazy...
and combine that with a twin turbo setup, crazy reliability, great looking, and TONS of aftermarket support...you have got one crazy car.
