How fast are they anyways stock? I would like to go to the drag strip every once in a while... oh, and Tan, since youve driven one before, how is the interior? Is it comfortable enough for daily driving?

If I had a 3rd-gen RX-7 I wouldn't be complaining about the accommodations. But then again, I'm only 18 so my priorities may be a bit different.

Stock, they're slightly faster than an S2000 - slightly more hp at 250, but also a tad bit heavier. (1/4mile starts are a different story - much easier to launch.)
I pretty much consider the S2000 the be the inheritor of the 3rd gen RX-7 philosophy. Low weight, good power, racey suspension. The S2000 has advantages of reliability, cost (when new,) and drop-top.
There's a reason, after all, that they no longer sell the car here, while the S2000 sales are still strong.

actually, i'm not going to flame because, well, it's true. statistically, i can't argue. but my '00 s2000 with 48k+mi hasn't given me a single problem. there's the occassional 1-2 grind, but nothing i've had to take my car to the shop for.
my only complaint is that it eats up rear tires. soon, i'm going to have to replace my tires for the 5th time... and our tires aren't exactly cheap

2830 must be with full tank and a passenger, and i've still never seen anything above 2,800 listed. I've seen them weighing in completely dry at easily under 2,700.
