There is a local place that has what appears to be mulitple 2002 Aurora Motors... "new, take out, 0 miles"

Isn't that what shelby started with in those Series One cars?

$800.00 is an awesome deal for an entire V8 that is brand new.......

Without a doubt, I'd blue book it, and sell it for fair market value. Get the cash brotha!

No kidding. If I knew it would fit AND bolt onto my 5 speed, I'd throw one in my Maxima and gain some needed horsepower.

I wonder if one of those would fit in an AE-86 or better yet an MGB.

I was kind of wondering what you were talking about.... i thought maybe you meant i should go buy one of the engines, then try to sell it........ but... .if they can't sell them, i am not sure that i could.

it would be a sweet engine to put in a light car... i think it is a fairly lightweight v8....

Basically just a 4.0 Northstar. Shelby had the bits to set it up for RWD. Like most DOHCs, it will probably be difficult to move to a tight engine bay.

I've seen a supercharged Ford 302 in a Miata. In fact there are a couple houses out there that specialize in just such a conversion. It ain't cheap though. I'd have to say the Northstar would fit, but there'd be a bit of cutting-torch involved.

I'd imagine a supercharged pushrod 302 and a DOHC 4.6 Northstar take up similar room.

I seen a couple of Northstar's stuffed in Fiero's in the last year. One of them was a super sweet job and looked factory. It was also darned quick.

I would think one would fit in a Miata or even an old beat up racecar S2000. I've got a friend who dropped a V8 in an old Open Wheel Formula Atlantic and it's a blast to drive.
