what is the closest USA Legal thing to 2012 Lotus Exige S?
Hard to find cars that only weigh 2500lbs these days.... not sure why Lotus doesn't make these USA legal.... but... is there anything that is reliable and similar in hp and weight?
This car is about 2500lbs with about 350hp.... I was thinking the Noble was similar... I forget the new name for them though... and are they reliable? Lotus has a supercharged Toyota engine (I think)...

The Noble you're thinking of is the Rossion Q1. They're the ones who took over the rights for Noble and they're built in FL.
From what I've read they have a much better fit and finish than the old Nobles, so hopefully that translates to good quality control for mechanical parts as well.
In regards to being similar to the Exige S. Weighs 2,500 lbs, has 450 hp from a twin turbo V6 (I think Ford engine). Costs a little over $100k.

Ok... something with a roof though...ahhaha.... I really wanted to buy a Westfield Megabusa about 10 years ago... it was going to weigh about 1000lbs with the Hyabusa 200hp motor and sequential shift..... I need something a little more practical than that...

I would much rather have a factory new Lotus Exige but I guess this is the idea...... looks pretty good... it sits a little high... maybe this is the 4x4 version? LOL

The interior looks pretty damn good for what amounts to a glorified kit car.

Ive always liked the performance the Nobles offfer for the price, and that interior looks quite nice. But the exterior design has always looked a bit too kit car-ish. Must be someof the angles and lines that don't match well making it look like ots pieced together from other cars.
I'd go with the previous suggestion of a used Exige with a K20 or K24 swap and supercharger. Or other project cars....I'd like an FD3S with LS3 or FC3S with LSx, MRS with supercharged or turbo K24, etc.
