i'm on the list for one of the first USDM Elises. Just wondering if anyone else has completely made up their mind on a future car and/or has already gotten on a list for somethin.

--Pontiac GTO ($1000 refundable deposit....3rd order spot in State)
--C6 Corvette (haven't put anything down yet but am lucky enough to be friends with the dealer and he's given me first shot as soon as they officially begin ordering)

hehe...I've had my fun with the imports for the past few years and now I'm testing out the American's. Styling is also an issue with me and the GTO...I love the basics. 350hp, RWD, 6spd, 4 seats...what's not to like. I'd want to see one in person first though before I commit (that's why I made sure my deposit was refundable). Other than that I don't really see much holding me back from it. In all actuality though I think the Vette is gonna be the best bet. I've always loved Corvettes and was so close to buying a Z06 (I had a medical issue come up). So I don't know. I may buy the GTO and keep it for a year then trade up to the new C6 when it comes out. When are the Elise's due? That would be one hell of a weekend racer.
