subaru legacy spec b.... 6 speed 4 door turbo. looks sick too. trust me. google it and you will like it.

*edit* sorry about 5k more than what your looking for. 08-09 runs for about 35k

I would also consider trunk space. My wife and I recently had a baby. She has a Corolla, and I have my S. We are looking towards getting an even roomier car...gasp, dare I say mini-van. If you go on trips where you need to bring a stroller, that pretty much eats up all the trunk space that you have.

Id personally go with an s2k and then crappy daily driver for the family.. otherwise WRX.. and if you feel like buying a little but used. EVO VIII or STI!

keep the S and get a Fit used for about $300/month.

Once baby is here you're going to want something a little larger than the S. Sport sedan is the way to go. The new Mazda 6 looks pretty good in the ads. Haven't seen one in person yet. EVO or STI are good choices to keep performance in the picture. IS350. 3-Series. Lot's of options out there...

Hmmm, no one has mentioned the Mazda Speed 3, can be had for under $25k new and with 4 errr "5" doors and 281 hp under the hood, who can complain? It's performance is close to the Evo and STi but doesn't come with the huge spoilers and what not.
