What car would you get if you need back seats?

Have you driven one? I owned an '05 MINI S and it was very neutral if you are getting into the corners properly. You can actually get oversteer (I did on one offramp ) as well. When I the S is paid off, I plan in picking one up as a DD. Back seats are fine for a baby seat and small children/people.

I've driven both the old and new MCS, and I give them a big thumbs up. I'm not generally a fan of fwd, but they manage to be a hoot in spite of it. Plus there's no other car I can think of w/ the same combination of high fuel mileage and performance/fun factor.

Less than $30,000 I would say an Accord. An accord with almost all the features is about $30,000.
Unless you want a sports car then I don't know.
You can buy a (damaged) Porsche GT3 for about $40,000 and put back seats in it (they will do it for you).
