Maybe a short-term lease?

Are they maintenance heavy? I was led to believe that they sorted out all of the issues that popped up in the first 1-2 years of production.

And you can 100% guarantee that QF prices will level or increase once production stops (within 6 months I think?).

Dealer said the first ones had some issues but since then they've been fine.

QV's stopped being shipped to the US in June, so all the ones coming here are already here. Manager told me the one I bought will be the last one they'll see new. I got $7500 off mine, so right at $80k. The updates to the '24 were what pushed me over and felt like a better car than my '17.

Aston Martin (pick one) makes the prettiest cars out there, I think. They're just always beautiful.

An older Vantage pulled into the restaurant I was at for lunch today and it was still stunning despite the age. I forgot how low looking they are.

I agree with most of picks in the reader response article linked in the original post. You don't have to spend a ton either as I think the Miata and BRZ/86 are both very good looking cars.

I funds are unlimited, I like the Roma.

Most of the issues early on was due to weak batteries and incompetent dealers on diagnosing it. As far as maintenance, it can be spendy. If you go to dealer expect $500+ oil changes, serpentine belt change is recommended every 30k miles which is labor intensive usually a $2k job, brakes dealers usually quote $3500 per axel but you can find after market pads cheaper and rotors are still expensive but can find them around $800-$1200 a set( I had my brakes recently done with 2 piece rotors for and pads for around $3k all around. Its worth getting the extended warranty through Mopar which cost me $4700 for an additional 4 years and 60k miles from contract date not inservice date. So any major uh ohs will be covered by this.
The 2024’s do have some nice upgrades!

So Zsak,

Your Model 3 Performance is probably quicker, which do you enjoy driving more or which one would you give up if you had to ditch one?

Thats easy, Tesla would be gone. Tesla may accelerate faster but the Alfa pulls on all my senses, the sound it makes, the telepathic handling, even the auto paddle shifter feels special for an auto. Also for whatever reason people just like talking about the Alfa at gas stations, parking lots etc. I just wish Alfa would continue on this track but like the rest of the auto world are leaning towards electric nonsense.

I know you had a regular Giulia as well, the QV is so different it's shocking. The one I test drove years ago had to have something wrong with it as mine is so very different. If you can (and are remotely interested) I'd say to get a test drive if you can. One I drove before was an 18, this was back in spring 2020 I believe.

I have few more payments on the Macan and then one open garage stall. A model 3 performance was on the list, as well as a Quad, and a few other cars. I don't think I will get around to it quick enough to buy a Giulia before they are gone as production stops soon, but I could look for a low miler. I still have a bunch of Alfa stuff, MES software, dongles to talk to the ecu, a spare set of five hole wheels I never put on, and a couple Alfa garage banners I had made by a person on Etsy, so I kinda have a foot in that camp.

I am sure it will be night and day between that and the four popper, but I still loved the four popper as a really nice little car with a bunch of style, and I miss it. A tri-coat rosso make me drool although I really like the Montreal green you bought, white, the bright blue, and the whatever they call that golden paint that changes color depending on the lighting.
