Default were all na2 nsx targas?

was reading on prime and people say the coupe is much better than the targa. im confused. is putting the top on the targa=coupe or will it still not handle as well? and all the 02+ models i found were targas.

I would ask this question on NSX prime, i'm sure you'd get better clarification there. As far as coupe's, they did make non-targa coupe versions in the early-mid 90's. Coupe's were always avail. over-seas, but in the late 90's through the 2000's cars, targa's were the only option offered. Obviously a coupe offers a little more structural rigidity than the targa.

I'm pretty sure the Alex Zanardi edition (which were "2nd generation" NSXes) were coupes.

Looking for a NSX huh?

first of all NSXprime.com/FAQ is your frend.

Coupes are 100 lbs lighter than Targa's and stiffer. They have less cowl shake and less rattles too. The other advantge is a theoretical lower Center of Gravity. The larget production of NA2 is the 1999 Zanardi NSX. Total of 50 were sold. They are lighter, stiffer, less than 40 still running around in USA(10 or so are totaled). Other than those there are 4-6 coupe for 1997, 1998, 2000 and maybe 3-4 in 2001. No more coupe's after 2001.

My 1998 NSX-T had some cowl shake but no rattles prior to all the suspension mods. Now its has less shake but more rattles.

There is nothing wrong with talking about the NSX in the 'Car Talk' section, that's what it is for. I just think it's funny how the same subject keeps coming up from the same person and a lot of the questions about the car could be found at NSXprime.

I wouldn't go over to the MINI web pages and ask about the Insight.
