Toyota will not be the powerhouse you think in the years to come.

Maybe, Maybe not. Time will tell, but both Toyota and Honda will still make exciting coupes again. Hyundia has alot more ground work to cover than to make a coupe that looks exciting. It has to last

i don't think they will ever go down the 4cyl road again, but they are a unique model and have a strong following. seems like every ford show i've been to there is always 2 or 3 SVO's lurking......

i think if gas stays the way it is they may step down to a 6cyl in the GT for economy. But forced induction would make up the difference in power.

Keep in mind some of the sickest street cars are 6cyl turbo ( supra, skyline, GT-R )
but the hard part will be winning over all of the diehard Muscle fans( My self inculded ) To a GT and Or Cobra that doesn't have atleast 281ci of displacement....
I agree, before the s2000 came out, my dream car was the 4th gen supra. I also love those 800 hp GTR Skylines I watched in those japanese shows. I still believe that the RB26 and 2JZ motors are two of the strongest and best candidates to take massive amounts of boost when built properly.

To me the "proper" mustang has a healthy V8 and RWD...I mostly see women driving mustangs that have a V6 and/or it's a convertible mustang that has a V6. It is a turn on when I see a pretty girl in a V8 stang...even more of a turn on when its manual. Of course any girl that drives a manual whether it be an S2000 or mustang is a turn on.

I don't think that they will make a GT with a V6 though...That trim level is known to all that it has a V8.

Ford will always make a V8 in a mustang they just might not put out as many or make it "order only" but the option will alway be there.

i have all 3 (toyota, ford and honda) all of them have there unique qualitys, My toyota truck has 382,762 miles on the original motor, trans and rear diff ha even the radiator is original a great DD
My mustang is truly the most fun in a strait line, 526hp and 611ft.lbs out of a 347 stroker without a little spray (150 shot) but in the interior and exterior the build quality is nowere near that of the S2K.....
The s2000 is the most all aroud fun car i have ever owned
