Want to pick up a new car (GLK or EX35).

I hate to be that guy, but why exactly are you buying a crossover? They excel at absolutely nothing. Horrible compromise of a vehicle.
That being said I vote GLK.

Golf r and wrx/Sti are ur only awd hatch options. Both have their negatives.

Audi and BMW offer AWD wagons (A3 and 3-Series respectively).

What about a Range Rover Evoque?

Purely subjective but I'd vote for the Acura if price & cost to maintain are an issue and you can stomach the "CRV with a beak" looks. But the GLK 350 would be my personal 1st pick. A little (25%) more expensive to buy with similar options and more expensive to maintain but very reliable and MUCH better looking IMHO.

Well, guys. I think I persuaded her to possibly buying a S2000 at the moment. She is also considering a 2013 Porsche Boxster. I have her leaning more toward the S.
We will keep the Scion xB as our future family car for now. It's been a great car and would hate to part ways with it.
Things are looking good would love to have another S in the family. Only thing is finding one with red interior and color she wants.
If she does change her mind she will go with the GLK. She has this attraction to the car. I will be working hard to get her to decide on the S2000 though. prefer a 08-09.
