Want to own a Viper AND be a Bond villain?

Ok, I think it was Road and Track that posted part of the reason the Viper was dead was that the current design could not accommodate a coming requirement for curtain airbags without killing headroom.
So, first, with the car becoming defunct, are they getting engines and chassis from Chrysler after the death of the car to produce this thing? And secondly, what are they doing to accommodate curtain airbags or are they so small a producer they get an exemption? Or are these limited run one-offs that are dead when the Viper is dead?

LOL. It's definitely my favorite Fisker trait - for all his cars it seems like he just draws giant cartoonish wheels, and then wraps it in something sexy! The Karma is still a showstopper when you see them on the street - and those concept car sized wheels, stance and proportions are IMO why.
