I bet if the ZR1 had the same aerodynamic enhancements such as the ACR's front splitter, front cannards, and that huge rear wing, it would be a lot faster around a track.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda and if you aunt had a weiner she would be your uncle. You can bet all you want, but we will never know because only the viper comes in track focused guise. ZR1 is sweet, but these are totally different cars. Moving your butt around a track is about the whole package working well together.

Ground clearance on a Testarossa is 5.5 inches. Those are some big feet you had at 8 years old!

As I said, for 99.9% of the population, this Viper will not be streetable. It's too focused, too loud, too intense. It's street legal but not really streetable unless you're going to be climbing under it to change the suspension. The S2000 is bad enough (and I daily drove mine for 27 months, loving every bit of it) for most people.
Streetability is a matter of perference than legality. Personally I think my lowered S2000 rides just fine and isn't noisy at all. However my neighbors have a different opinion.

What is your definition of streetable? It meets the noise and emission regulations, and apparently the DOT seems to think the ACR is just so that it has their approval.

It would be nice if people put as much effort into learning and practicing how to drive as they do the endless pissing contests of which car can do what better.

ANd I've read in comparison's that the ZR1's magnetic ride control is MUCH softer on the street when in cruise mode compared to the ACR's track tuned suspension.
Really? A more expensive car already, with more money put into it, MIGHT actually be faster than the ACR?

Who'd a thunk?

Streetable means you can drive it daily to work or take a 300 mile trip in it without wanting to shoot yourself within ten miles.

Like I said, a matter of preference.

I love the parts where he says you just put the power down and hope it works out in the end!

It's scary when you are just along for the ride, but some corners are like that!
