Whether or not we think they are that significant, no one can refute the rough ride, lower end interior materials and loud noises.
See, that's what I'm talking about: the Z06 is not significantly louder than the C6- itself an exeptionally quite car for a sportscar. As most owners will attest- the Z06 works JUST FINE as a normal street car.
My point is: he's EXAGGERATING to make it look like the car is inferior to what it actually is.

^^^^^^ Don't tell me you had your feelings hurt by Jeremy It's a freakin' TV show. Entertainment is what it all about. Relax, dude.

It sure doesn't diminish my desire for a new Z06.

I don't remember Top Gear making any DD comments about the GT3 RS (which gave roughly the same road course performance), but I have driven both the MkI and MkII GT3's. Very hard ride, not above my threshold, but a hard ride nonetheless. If a C6 Z06 is noticeably harder than that, I couldn't do daily driving with one.

Nah- that wanker couldn't hurt my feelings if he tried. I think (hope?) everyone else in the world is smart enough to see through his obvious bias, though.

But then those people would be smart enough to see through your obvious bias as well.

Guys, in the video they hit 175 mph before they had to shutdown in 5th gear. The car will pull 198mph bone stock in 5th gear with enough runway.

They ran out of runway in the video and had to shut it down at 175mph.

"That's 160 and I'm out of runway."
"In actual fact this would go from a standstill to 175mph...IN ONE GEAR!"

That is a transcript from the movie. He only hits ~160 and then claims it will hit 175 in he had more room, but in reality he would hit 198, top speed. Not trying to bust any balls, except maybe clarkson's, but he was wrong.

See, here's the deal. Someone with actual ownership experience with the car has a much better idea of how the car behaves as a daily driver than a self-important blowhard who pontificates for an audience who can't afford the majority of the cars he spouts about anyway. And an owner of more than one Vette might have some insight about the car that you can't glean from the British entertainment industry. But then, you are apparently the expert, knowing all about every aspect of the car after watching a TV show :/
