Ok, you're right, I'm a dumbass and I think everyone needs an entertainment center on wheels.

No comprehension problems here. I understand you can order a base car for the base price. My argument is that every treats it like a $45k car, when the truth is, there are going to be like 2,000 of those cars made, and ALMOST EVERYONE that gets one will pay substantially more than $45k for the car...so $45k isn't really representative of the car's price.

M3s are so common that you can order one however you want and dealers are happy to sell them to you. But for the 1M, dealers will have strict build allocations IF they even get any on a such small volume vehicle. So you might not even be able to order one.
That's not how BMW distributes cars to their dealers. Every single car is accounted for before production. They don't build cars and tell dealers what they get. Dealers order cars just like you do.

Any BMW dealer can order what they want as long as they have allocation. The only restrictions are priority one options that have to be a sold order. There is no production limit on 1M and you will see them in stock inventory at a discount within 45 days of release. My dealer has already quoted me 3k off MSRP. If I do one it will every option on it (premium, nav, sound system, alarm, sat radio, heated seats should be about 54k). Looking to see if a sunroof is available for the US maket. As of now, I think I still like my modded 335 better. When I see the car at the Detroit auto show I will make up my mind.

I was seriously considering this car because i could transfer most of the mods from my 335xi to this car but then i started thinking for around this price or a little more I could get a used GT-R and really own a performance icon.

I wonder how this will stack up against the Z4M performance wise.
jacques87, the Ring times was released by sportauto i believe. The z4m on the conti runflats got the same exact time as the 1m on ps2's? Cool stuff anyways. Can't wait to see one on the road, in its widebodied awesomeness.

the time was 8:12.

Looks good in alpine white, is it just me or does that front wheel gap look a bit large? I'm sure it's in the name of suspension tuning but typically BMW is pretty good about filling up those wheel wells, especially with 19's.
