Vespa/GTR/McLaren F1/Jeep Wrangler

Have you considered the E30 M3?
It is a good compromise in your situation. It has the tossability of the Vespa coupled with the rarity of the GTR. It also shares BMW DNA in respect to the MF1's engine.
Winnar.

Dont get the McLaren, my best freinds sisters psychologist had like 3 and they all broke down.
Also, dont do anything until you can pay it in cash, i cant believe you would think about financing a depreciating asset.
Anyway,
Youre only clear option at this point would be to buy a DeLorean and go back in time to a galaxy far far away and purchase a Mellenium Falcon.
You can put 17x10's on it with -15 offset without any fender mods and it can make the kessel run in less than twelve parsecs, which is much faster than cars mentioned. Also, i know a dude in Florida who can put a 2jZ in there for you. Legit.
win.

since this thread has been so helpful, maybe you can help me...
i'm looking for a new daily driver to replace my '96 Neon. looking at used cars...must be reliable, low mileage, preferably like new condition, and something you don't see every day. I'm thinking a 911 turbo, Supra, RS4 or RX7. btw, i can't spend more than $8k. thanx!

Oh man, this thread delivers.
Why the hell hasn't there been more emphasis on spoilers and racing stripes? The performance gains are huge, especially on the McLaren. A lot of people report issues parallel parking without the extra downforce of a double decker spoiler on the car. Especially when you're parallel parking flat out. Because that's how that car must be driven: flat out.
