Default Used car for under $23K?

I have a female co-worker who is looking to trade in her 03 Mustang GT. She's wanting to spend about 22-23K (including TTL) or under for the new car. I reccomended a 350Z or base model RSX (need an automatic). She's going to go test drive a 350Z but doesn't like the RSX, anyone have any reccomendations?

Edit: she would prefer a coupe, but is open to anything really.

Josh

just throwing this out as an option, but how about the scion tc, she could probably get a new one loaded up w/all the goodies and keep it at $20K or under, use the saved $$ for mods or treat herself to a big screen tv or something

Yeah I reccomended a Scion TC but she doesn't like them.. I also tried to talk her into waiting a few months for the Solstice to come out but she doesn't like the look of it. She said it looks like a rowboat on wheels? haha

I know this is less sporty but more useful, but what about an Accord V6 Coupe or somesuch?

EDIT: Oh, thought, you could get a G35 coupe for under 23k now used.

You can also check out the 9-2X Aero and get one new and loaded for 22k. And have 4 doors with WRX performance.

A Cooper S with automatic is $22,300. Add tt&l and it's out of the price range but not by much. A Cooper automatic would fit nicely in the price range and be fun to drive.

Any reason she's not looking into the redesigned Mustangs?
