TVR Tuscan
This car is out of control, undoubtedly one of the nicest cars in the world! The best looking Tuscan is John Travolta's personal Tuscan, the same one used in the movie Swordfish (which is one hell of a movie) anyway, do you think they should bring it to the US? i think they should, unless they do sell a few in the states...
i need one in my life....

Haha, it does look quite exotic, but it's just a big block American made motor to some fancy schmancy paint work. I'd rather have an Aston Martin, much more class for an English car.

Wrong. The Tuscan actually has a TVR made, 4 liter, straight six nicknamed the "Speed Six" which puts out 360 bhp at 7000 RPM and 320 ft lb of torque at 4500 RPM. That's quite a high output for a six cylinder engine -- More than the NSX's V6 and the DB7's I6. It's even more powerful than the 335 bhp Rover V8 that's used in the TVR Griffith (TVR's high end convertible model)! All this along with a nifty iridescent paint costs job for about the american equivalent $80,000 - about 50K cheaper than an Aston Martin DB7.
You should also take a look at the TVR Cerbera Speed 12: it's traditionally front-engined like all other TVR's. But it has two of the Speed Sixes welded together along with other tweaks to produce an amazing 800 bhp (roughly) out of a 7.7 liter naturally aspirated straight twelve. Now that amount of power in a street legal car (in some countries, like the whole UK. not the US, unfortunately, grr ) borders on the obscene. All this can be had in Britain for L160,000 (i suspect that the pound sign is part of the ASCII character map - I was too lazy to dig it up ). And it weighs a little over 1000KG (2200 lbs)

That is correct,
the speed 12 has a 7.7L V12. In fact oddly enough it is a V12 with a bank angle of 90 deg. something we are used to seeing on similar very low production cars.
Still it has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and makes 800bhp!!!
