I vote for the Audi. AWD. And I like the looks too.

Yay for one-wheel drive.
Man, driving BMWs - that really annoys me - another reason I'd go Audi.

Sadly, the TT-RS won't come to North America, as per autoblog : source.
New pics there also. The 5 cylinder engine sounds nice. I would go for the TT-RS for winter use if it were my DD.

I read about that too, but then recently heard that it still may come.

We'll see...

Drive them both but based on my experience the Z4 will be the one that will be the most satisfying to drive.
There is a considerable difference. First, the Beetle is not based on the same platform as either the TT or the GTi. The Beetle is built in Mexico, and it has a torsion beam rear suspension, not the multilink setup in either the GTi or TT. The GTi and the TT are related. However, the TT differs from the GTi in several respects, and one major difference relates to the composition of the metals used in the suspension. The TT uses a significant amount of aluminum alloy in its suspension in order to achieve a more optimum weight distribution than the GTi.

I refuse to pay that kind of money for what is essentially a VW Beetle/GTI, no matter how fast it goes.
Isn't that what people said about the LANCER Evo and the IMPREZA WRX STi?

Z4. The Audi TT-S is already overpriced, overweight, and underpowered for you pay for. The TT-RS is going to cost even more then the regular S.
