Default Trying to create a verb form of the word "bangle" (related to new BMW 7 series)

After reading some of the design reviews of the new BMW 7 series I thought it might be appropriate to ask the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) a verb form to the word "bangle"

Here is the application information I provided OED

I would like to a expand the use of the word bangle to a verb form.

ex. The designer has bangled the new version of this automobile relative to the previous version.

The intended meaning for the verb form of bangle is the following; to detract from the merits of a design using changes based on the designer's vision in place of the customers' preferences.

The background for my request is the redesign of the BMW 7 series automobile. The designer (Mr. Chris Bangle) has designed a vehicle which has received some amount of perhaps negative reviews relating to the styling departure from the previous generation vehicle. In particular, issue has been taken to the trunk (boot)design.

I thought it fitting to add a verb form to the word bangle.

Do you think the word form is correct??

I predict that the radical controls of the new BMW 7 series will fail to catch on, and BMW will be forced to revert to more-conventional designs the next time around.

Therefore, I would suggest instead the verb form of the word "bungle!"

Is the new 7 series really so bad that a word should be coined to describe what happened to it? And does Bangle deserve this kind of immortality? Hasn't he designed some nicer looking cars as well?

at the NY Int'l Auto Show I couldn't even get near the new 7 series. It looks like everyone wanted to check it out. I guess it's popular in terms of first looks, but maybe it's different for those who actually want to own the vehicle.

we have often used the term, "bangled" and "bangelized" to describe the horrors under his reign.

I believe the next generation 5 series scheduled for 2004 uses a similar design

The word you are looking for is "bebangled".

The interior design is bebangled to a degree that reminds us of a child's drawing of a latin taxi.
