Hybrids are not only focused on MPG's, they also have lower emissions then other cars. So I think that a car like this will give people another alternative to Hybrids if their main focus is improving MPG's but the Hybrids still win in the "Green" department.

I like the look of the Trident though.

BTW- If the Duramax motor weighs 1000 pounds then how the hell are they keeping this thing to only 3200 pounds?
