It's an interesting proposal, but gees, going with a 6.6 with 950 LBS OF TORQUE to push a small convertible seems like overkill. And the styling needs the pen of a pro. That said, I think it looks pretty decent, a very amateurish TVR.
If they can prove it, than great. Too bad it's yet another hypermiler that most people can't afford.

Very interesting concept. Only issue I can think of from a technical perspective is that the 6.6L duramax motor weighs nearly a thousand pounds IIRC. It's a very heavy motor and the front/rear balance has to be pretty jacked up.

Even without this car, diesels make hybrids worthless. It was a matter of time before someone made a diesel sportscar.
