What I'm sick of seeing is Nissan/Infiniti (FX and Z) all over the road. Those thing must be mass produced or something. So I doubt Acura would be anywhere close to them yet. At least not for now.
The 350z platform is reused for like 4 cars; 350z, murano, g35, and fx. If you can reuse a platform, then you can save money. Unfortunately, Honda doesn't reuse platforms to cover two niches (sports car + SUV), so their cars will cost more.

RDX is based on the CRV flatform.

Yeah. But the current CR-V has RT4WD not SH-AWD, and I am pretty sure that the next gen CR-V coming up next model year will still come with RT4WD.

I like all the features, just don't like the package. Why can't they put all those nice things into a sedan. The TSX with SH-AWD + turbo would be perfect, there would be no other cars to consider for a $30-35k car.

That's what all us TSX drivers are hoping for on the '08 model revision.

RDX sounds nice, but if I can get another 30-50hp (or more!) in my TSX, along with a couple extras (most of which were added for '06, honestly), I'd be hard pressed to find a reason to get a different car than another TSX. AWD would be nice, but I could take it or leave it.

And I know I could step up to the TL, but I like the styling, exclusivity (relative to the TL), and smaller size, of the TSX, plus it's made in Japan vs. the TL's being made in America, which does make a difference to me, and I bet the next gen TL is inching close to $40k with nav. $32k for a 240hp TSX with nav sounds about perfect to me

Well, the main reason for the change is family(more space). If I didn't have a kid and child seats and strollers, and whatever toys that I have to bring along to keep him quiet, I wouldn't give up the TSX. I would just spend some $$$ and get a Comptech supercharger(came out recently for TSX) and get like 80 more horsepower.

My brother wants to trade his TSX for a V-6 RAV 4. He tells me his auto TSX feels slower than his Scion Tc. I've driven both, and I can see why he thinks that. His Tc will out run his TSX in about 80% of driving situations.

Well, that's because the vtec on the TSX doesn't kick in until late 6k rpm (6800 to be exact). And after that, there's only little more than 1k rpm to go until redline(whick sucks). I had mine reflash and the vtec starts a bit sooner. But flash or no flash, once the TSX gets into the vtec territory, the 200hp will shine. It will outrun the BMW 3 series, let alone a TC.
