a track day in a gt3
so last weekend was probably the best weekend ever. my dad let me track his 2010 gt3 3.8 edition.i know im gonna get alot of hate since im only 16 and driving that beast but let me show you something before you guys hate. i grew up in a family revolving around racing. my dad is a retired porsche cup driver and a retired radical cup driver. here are some pics
anyways when i was 4 i got my fist go kart and ended up stopping at 16 because i got my s2000. so back to the story my dad finally let me take his gt3 on the track at homestead raceway.the gt3 scares the living crap out of me,the intense acceleration, the endless grip it was a blast. i wasnt allowed to go full out and i wasnt planning on it either considering i would probably kill myself.so yeah i just wanted to share my experience with you guys and tell you about the gt 3.it has to be the ultimate drivers car,and to me the fastest car ive ever driven . here is a pic of the gt3

nice. i don't see a problem of driving a fast car if you know how to drive it. and you actually took it to a track not driving like a maniac on the road like Hulk Hogan's son and killing/brain dead other people.

I think that there is a big difference between a spoiled kid getting to drive his dad's (insert fancy car here) and a father and son going to the track together. I plan on taking my daughter to the gun range to shoot my AR as soon as she's old enough (she's only a week old, LOL), which is far cry from letting her carry it around the neighborhood. See what I'm getting at?
You'd have to be a real cynical jerk to look down on a kid actually learning how to drive with skill. More power to you, kid!

Congrats and good to hear a teenager being responsible when giving the privelege to play with some high end toys. Man I sound old
The more you drive it the more you'll get used to it. Then after a while you'll be asking your dad to upgrade to a GT2RS. It's a sliippery slope!
