Ask yourself why would I care what you think? I do not need to waste time refuting his comment. If he hates Nascar, fine. To say that race today was boring you would have to be an idiot. I call them as I see them, get over it.

BTW Matt Kenseth is an IDIOT.

Watched it for 5 minutes, BORING! Don't care what happened after those 5 minutes and didn't have the patience to watch more because I found it BORING. Tuned to a news channel and found it a lot more interesting.

In response to some of the NASCAR fan comments about Toyota...

I just don't see how boning your sister in the back of a "Camry" is any different than a "Monte Carlo" or "Fusion". Any cupholder will hold a can of Busch Light.

That being said, my timing was perfect. I saw the last 5 laps. It's like College Basketball...tune in for the last 3 minutes and you can say you saw the greatest event in sports.

I am awaiting real racing...the kind at 200 mph on two wheels.

Anyone who thinks that NASCAR is boring should have watched the race today. I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but I am a motorsports fan. And the finish to this year's Daytona 500 was the most amazing race finish I think I have ever seen in my life in all of autoracing. 1st and 2nd place were decided by 0.02 sec. The winner rocketed out of the last corner in like 6th place and got a perfect run to take the win by about 2 feet. There was a massive wreck on the very last corner. And the 18th place driver finished the race backwards. Also his car was sliding on his roof across the line. Oh and his car was on fire too. Seriously. Crazy, amazing finish.

The Toyotas finished 23rd, 30th, and 34th. Not bad for a team debut. And a fourth Toyota was DNF.

Andrew

Today's finish was spectacular and it's not uncommon at Daytona. You may not like NASCAR, but to say it's not real racing is plain ignorance. You don't see many (if any) finishes in F1 where the margin of victory between 1st and 20th is mere seconds. The Craftsman Truck Series race also had a great finish where Toyota kicked ass taking 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 9th at Daytona. Yesterday in the Busch Series race, Dave Blaney's Toyota Camry placed 2nd.

check out A1gp sometime. I have 6 or so saved on my shaw box (canadian equivilant to tivo). This series has alot of awesome racing!!! It reminds me of F1 years back when there were no technical gadchetry controling the cars. Each team running represents a differnt country from around the world in which their driver is from. I find myself on the edge of my seat rooting for Canada no matter where they are in the grid. anyways, check it out www.a1gp.com

I watched most of the race and the announcers commented more than once that the Toyotas are "made in the US of A". As if it wouldn't be okay if they weren't.

nascar is fun to watch for the last 20 laps. the other 180 laps are kinda boring. But, as with most sports, if you don't understand the sport or have a deep knowledge of it, it will be less interesting to you. many women i know cant stand football or baseball, or even bball cuz they just don't get it.

i cant wait till toyota starts dominating nascar.
