Toyota's debut in NASCAR today.
Watching part of it and seeing the Camry racing in NASCAR. I don't care what car is in NASCAR, it's still dead boring.
One of the NASCAR fans' responses to Toyota's involvement: "It doesn't matter that the Camry is made in America, the Ford is made in Mexico and Chrysler in Canada. Toyota doesn't belong here. It is an American sport."
Frankly, I don't know why Toyota is wasting many millions going into NASCAR. Its Camry is already well-known and a best-seller. Maybe it's investing in marketing its brand to all demographics and for the future.

It's still a racing series based on cars running carborators.
The cars are tube frame, purpose built race cars that are meant to only vaguely bear some resemblence to a boring-ass street car.
SO LAME I cannot stand it.
Bring back NASCAR from the 60s where they ran modified street cars on the track (saftey equipment primarily) and they HAD to sell the cars on the street. Or drop the about the resemblance to a production car.
(Oh yeah, and get some EFI and unleaded gas FFS. )

Toyota? Ford? Chevy? Dodge?
They're all the same.

This is just proof that stickers are what make cars go faster. Get the right combination on your car and you'll be a winner!

AARRRGG!!!
It's almost as mind bedingly stupid as trying to read the comments on Streetfire! Such stupidity and ignorance makes me proud to be an American. It is on the stupid and the ignorant that many will make their fortune, so count me in.

Them peeps are funny.
Doesn't matter IF Honda, MBW, Ferrari, etc. joined NASCAR, I will not watch it. It's sooooo boring! After a few minutes of watching it, I had to tune away.
