The US models had 200bhp IIRC? yes the rev 1 and 2 were noted as being 'snap-happy' thus the rev 3 underwent several suspension alterations along with a smaller turbo charger which upped the power to 241bhp, mine was never de-restricted so the top speed remained at 180kph (112mph)

They both have about the same amount of room and trunk space. It is a wash.
The really cool thing about owning an buying a used MR2 and owning it for ten years, and then buying a used S2000 and owning it for about a dozen years is that I have experienced very little depreciation between the two to have a fun second car for two decades.
Buy something that has a cult following and you won't lose much money.

Listening to this guy talk about 'curves' over and over again made me quit the video.
Love the cars though, particularly SW20 chassis. Was going to be my first car, had my money saved up for one when I was 16 but managed to get kicked out of the house and had to pay rent so I bought a 1975 B210 for $40 instead lol.
