Toyota to get back to sports cars?
Don't know how it will perform but I have always liked the looks of the concept.

Pretty cool in a George Lucas stormtrooper-lookin' sorta way.
But to be honest I'm sick to death of supercar after supercar after supercar, the market's FLOODED with them. What we (I anyway) NEED is a small, lightweight, rwd/irs, not too-too-expensive, ~10 or so :1 power/weight ratio coupe/hatch.
Somebody PLEASE?!

Toyota has an established record for being unwilling/unable to successfully sell anything with 2 doors --e.g., Celica, Supra, MR2, SC300/400...Paseo (ugh!)
2-doors don't generate enough dealer traffic for Toyota's volume plans.
Even current FJ Cruiser is positioned as a curiosity w/o mainstream marketing. Won't be long before they plan to come up with a 4-door version...
