Honda won't "wake up" unfortunately. Their goal is to win back the market share and loyalty that Hyundai and Kia, etc are winning from them. And guess what.....it isnt the sport market they are concerned about.

Why "wake up honda"? Why not just buy the toyota or subaru if Honda doesn't make a coupe?
No big deal. Unless you're a Honda Fanboy. If Honda never made an S2000 would you still tell them to "wake up"?. All the other Japenase car companies have more sports heritage than Honda does, at least when it comes to production cars.

To the OP, "Fanboi"
Let's take a history lesson down memory lane.
Name a true sports car other than the NSX or S2000? You can't!
Unless you call a FWD wonderbox a sports car I suggest you consider another manufacturer. Since Honda really took off here in America you have gotten nothing from them but FWD coupes/hatches. Preludes, Integras, CRX (even though it was never sold with the B16 here), Del Sol, and RSX are all prime examples of cars they sold here that were considered "sporty".
Yet Toyota/Suburu/Nissan/Mazda all made sportier cars than them although not the best, they still had more potential than a FWD wonder box.
Open diff came standard up until the Integra Type R, S2000, NSX and now current Civic SI
The rest of the world has caught up to Honda. No longer is Honda the most fuel efficient automaker and no longer can their FWD cars keep up with better AWD/RWD cars.
As much as I like the S2000, they don't really make another car I would buy over another. Honda really just sells me on reliability only, but their prices are so "overpriced" new and used in comparison to other cars in the respective classes that I don't consider them anymore.
Well the cars I want are RWD/AWD anyways so a TL, or V6 Accord, Civic I would just save the money and get another car in class if buying new... again though... keep dreaming about another sports car from honda if albeit an affordable one.

I have little loyalty to any mfg., they can't rest on past accomplishments. I'll buy whatever fits my needs best when I'm in the market, it's not my job to tell certain mfgs. to wake up.
