Mid level target price is $29000? I thought it was going to stay around 20k. They better put turbo in it!
But I really can't wait till see it in person!

Wow, that is great news. It's nice to see Toyota sharpening their RWD claws with the IS-F(handling).

it's not thier fault...
it's the exchanging rates between US $ n japan Yens lately...... bland US gorvs if u want cheap Japanese cars.. but say hell yea for people who gets cheap american n korean cars lately..

look up the exchange rate between asia n us from year 2007 till 2010 n later , u will see why Japanese cars n all the we buy these days are much more expensive than b4.. (most stuff here r made in China)

Just like with euro cars, I'm sure it'll be priced a lil differently here. Maaaan if itheyre gonna ask for more than 25k it better have a serious na motor or turbo, or be really really light. With the way hyundais been lately I'm sure they'll be fast to drop in the sonata turbo 4 and up the ante with the v6 or even drop the v8, and with mustang v6s now making 300hp toyota has to give the option. I'm just glad though that they're considering it still since early reports said they weren't.

The cynic in me still thinks it will be here in 2012. Nov of 2011 is just to make it sound a lot better...lol I really couldn't care either way. My next wheels have to be on my driveway by Dec. 21st of this year. Kudos to Toyota for even venturing into the RWD/performance type arena when they absolutely don't have to.
