OH GOD BUILD IT WITH THE TURBO BOXER MOTOR! Oh and don't charge crazy money for it like they did with the last gen Celica.
And I really dig the look of the concept as well, simple and aggressive.

The car's too tall. I don't like it. Where are the more slender sports cars!

I agree with your sentiment, but you could also argue that you could get a used S2000 or 350Z vs. a MS3/GTI/SI/etc. By the time this comes out, you could get an s2000, some C6s, 370Zs, etc.
But it appeals to me because it's a mass produced (and relatively proven despite some tranny issues) drivetrain, 2+2, and potentially low entry cost. And if it's anything like current mass produced subarus and toyotas, it will be hands on friendly.
Last time I got this interested it was over the gen coupe, then the curb weight and wheelbase measurements came out and kinda killed it for me, so hopefully this will be a true sport compact vs. sport touring type coupe.

If they do this car right I imagine the aftermarket options for it being incredible.

It's a good looking car. Much better than the AE86. I may seriously pick up this car as a DD. Love Subaru's boxer engines plus the RWD layout, can't see how this car won't be fun to drive.

If the price point is right...this car may end up killing the Civic. As far as younger guys/gals who end up buying Civic's for tuner cars.

****...this is good and bad at the same time. Good that its RWD, dependable, small, light (presumably) and affordable...that's the problem. Imagine the insurance rates on these things when every bonehead teenager gets one.

OH SHART!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS CAR FOR LIKE 7 YEARS!!!!!! It will be nice to have a hatch and some semi-usable luggage space!!!!! It's too bad really that Honda is going in the opposite direction.

Let's just hope the production version is similar to this concept because it really looks great. It is not the first time an auto company mess up the great design of the concept vehicle and make the production version uglier, G37 coupe is one example.
