actually the targeted car was the DC2 and DC5 Type-R and they were 2600 to 2700lbs but if its lighter many will welcome it.

Overall, I like the concept, but I think it's going to be a pretty good sized disappointment. The base model will weigh at least 3200lbs and with 200 HP...that is very unexciting. I'm not holding my breath on this one.
