topless awkwardness at lights

I have a great idea!!! Make some videos of strange encounters at intersections.
The idea is to have the camera point at the direction you're driving, then when you stop, point the camera left or right looking at the other driver.

it definitely took me a while to get used to it.... but i kind of like it now. generally i find that the attention is either from a) car enthusiasts or b) young ladies. the former, i just smile at, the latter... i guess it depends.
i was on a ride once on fairfax bolinas, and a VERY lovely young lady on rollerblades was having trouble making it up the final grade before ridgeview, and she rolled right over to me as i slowed to about 5-10 to pass her, and practically dumped herself in the passenger seat attempting to ask for a ride. of course i stopped and gave her a ride to the top. she sweated up my leather in her rollerblading lycra - who says chivalry is dead.
she told me getting out that she never would've thought to approach someone in an enclosed car for a ride under those circumstances.

I too lower my radio, but I look around, nod and behave very much the same as I would in a closed car. I decided a long time ago that if the other people at the traffic lights have a problem with it, it's their problem not mine.
I find that a lot of people respond to this attitude. People in other sports/sporty cars nod back. Others talk or say hello. Generally it has been a positive experience.
One response got me mad. A neighbor pulled up to the light and asked me if this was my mid-life crisis car. I said yes and pulled away. I think it got me mad, not so much because of what he said, but because I couldn't think of a clever, sarcastic enough answer.

Actually, when I'm at a stoplight and cars look over at me, I like to moon them. Full Moon and Press against the window. Then I realize that the window is down and I fall out onto the street with gravel up my ass.
