Default Top ten roadsters in America

I try to think of the top ten roadsters in America, but ended up getting nine only, can you fill in the blank and talk about what are what you think of a roadster?

By the way, the following are not in any particular orders.

Mazda MX-5
Honda S2000
Lotus Elise
BMW Z4
Porsche Boxster
Audi TT roadster
M-B SLK
Saturn Sky
Toyota MR2 Spyder

Here is what I think a good roadster should have:

The top could be opened or closed, regardless of cloth or metal used
Good look both top up and down
Rear-wheel drive
Manual transmission a must, auto an option
Two-seated
Very compact, especially the length must be short
Light-weight
Good front rear weight balance
Good suspension design and a strong chassis

Actually are Ferrari F430 Spyder and Nissan 350Z roadster true roadsters?

Miata, S2000 everything else either luxury or too barebones.

For me the ultimate roadster is the Lotus Elise. The purest expression of the sports car....

You have the Saturn Sky, but no Pontiac Solstice?

Of course, I'd say the Lotus is more of a targa though. As for roadsters, you pretty much only have the S2000, the MX-5, Sky/Solstice, Z4, Boxster, SLK, and the now defunct MR2.

Basically, two seats and a drop top.

If you are going to count that pile you have to put the corvette in the mix.
