Nissan found out that the EV test from Top Gear defrauded the report. Nissan sent the car with 100% charge, and saw that their car drained the battery to 40% before doing their "range test".
How did Nissan know you say? Well, Nissan Leaf has a monitoring system that sends every pieces of info to their headquarter.
When Nissan complained about fraud, Top Gear execs said it was just a joke. JC is a News Corp employee now, and not BBC? Why even do a "test" when it is not being tested without fraud?
