Theres absolutely nothing wrong with a corvette but if im dropping that kind of coin on a car id like to stand out a little more than the 6 vette's I saw on my way to work.. Maybe an older zo6 but I could never see spending the cash on a brand new one when there are other options. That being said the car would rarely see a track in my book just the occasional event, show, spirited driving so maybe what I say isn't accurate.

Don't get me wrong I think the Z06 is amazing value. I like both cars, I just think the Viper is more car.

Oh, I wouldn't buy a Z06 either. I am perfectly happy with my base as possible C7. Barely get a chance to floor it as is. Besides, there are way too many of them at the local cars and coffee, and I am sure they never see the light of day because they are all sparkly and new. Worst kind of car owner imo.

I would love the opportunity to cross shop these, but I would just be wasting the dealers time. My next car is definitely going to have 4/5 doors.

It's interesting cars and become so powerful and relatively affordable that well track times are interesting they're sort of mood. in less you want to brag.

I was just on the drive yesterday and my charger SRT and my friends Viper. We're on quiet mountain roads with very little traffic, but we still are using only two or 3/10 of the cars potential. Even at the track we won't go beyond 8/10 it's just not worth the risk. Sorry if my comparison between the Corvette and Viper suggested one was hugely superior to the other. I just like certain aspects of the Viper more but have a lot of respect for the Corvette it's positioning, and pricing.

Nah, I get it. The Viper is an awesome car, but it's been neglected IMO. The Viper doesn't mean as much to Dodge as the Corvette does to Chevrolet and it never will, it's not mainstream enough.

Any one know why the driver let off and coasted for a few second at the 1:19 mark in the VIR video?

edit: Never mind, looks like the audio is out of sync.

Anyone know why it was filmed on a potato cam? Is this one of those built in performance data recorders?
