Hasn't Toyota had a V8 Supra in Japan for quite some time? I know that the JGTC Supra has a V8, so it would stand to reason that it had to be in production for that series to allow it to be used. Anyhow, nothing real new in that regards.

To my knowledge there has not been a V8 in a supra, but Toyota has made V8 sports cars in japan, like the Toyota Soarer or something like that aka Lexus SC300 body style which I think had an option of a twin-turbo v8 in that sucker.

I thought the supra had a 4cyl...or maybe that's the 300hp version of the JGTC. But anyways, that thing is nasty. Bring back an affordable sporty corolla rwd hatch!!!
